Weekly Off Season Kicking Schedule

Day 1

  1. Dynamic Warmup/Stretches
  2. No Step Drill – 5 Reps
  3. One Step Drill – 5 Reps
  4. Two Step Drill – 5 Reps
  5. Balance Drill – 2 Sets (10 Swings)
  6. Upright Accuracy Drill (10 Hits)
  7. Directional Kickoffs
    • 10 Left
    • 10 Right

Day 2

  1. Dynamic Warmup/Stretches
  2. No Step Drill – 5 Reps
  3. One Step Drill – 5 Reps
  4. Two Step Drill – 5 Reps
  5. Balance Drill – 2 Sets (10 Swings)
  6. Over the Goal Post Drill – (2 Sets of 10 Kicks)
  7. 25-30 Yard Field Goals (Change Hash/Field Placement) 20 – 30 Reps

Day 3

  1. Dynamic Warmup/Stretches
  2. Balance Drill – 2 Sets (10 Swings)
  3. Directional Kickoffs
    1. 10 Left
    2. 10 Right
  4. D. 25-35 Yard Field Goals (Change Hash/Field Placement) 20 – 30 Reps
  5. Squib Kicks – 10 Reps
    1. Kick the ball down the middle at a height that will get over the front lines head
  6. Pooch Kicks – 10 Reps
    1. 5 at the left numbrs 30 yards deep
    2. 5 at the right numbers 30 yards deep
  7. Onside Kicks – 10 Reps

Day 4

  1. Dynamic Warmup/Stretches
  2. No Step Drill – 5 Reps
  3. Two Step Drill – 5 Reps
  4. Upright Accuracy (10 Hits)
  5. Over the Goal Post Drill – (2 Sets of 10 Kicks)
  6. 25-30 Yard Kicks (Change Hash/Field Placement) – 20 – 30 Reps
